You can treat your canopy every day and still lose a crop to airborne spores cycling through your grow room. Powdery mildew, botrytis, bacteria, and viruses travel through the air, land on surfaces, and reinfect plants continuously. In a sealed indoor environment (a grow room, processing facility, nursery, or laboratory), every breath of unfiltered air is a potential vector.
The CleanLight Air is a wall-mounted UV-C air disinfection unit that runs continuously, pulling air through a High Air Flow filter and past a germicidal UV-C lamp before returning it to the room: clean, disinfected, and ionized back to natural charge levels. It doesn't treat your plants directly. It reduces the microbial load in the air itself, lowering disease pressure across your entire space and protecting both your crop and your end product.
How it works
Air is drawn through the unit by a built-in fan in a three-stage process:
- Filtration: a High Air Flow Filter removes dust, particulates, and small insects from the airstream
- UV-C disinfection: air passes a 60W germicidal UV-C lamp at 254nm, destroying the DNA of bacteria, viruses, mould spores, and other pathogens
- Ionization: air is recharged back to natural ion levels before being returned to the room, replicating the balance of fresh outdoor air
The unit wall-mounts discreetly and runs quietly in the background, with no maintenance required between filter and lamp replacements.

How big a room does it cover?
Up to 100 m³ — about 3,500 cubic feet, or roughly 437 sq ft with an 8-foot ceiling. It also works fine in smaller rooms. For larger rooms, run multiple units on opposite sides.
What maintenance does it need?
Replace the UV-C lamp every 12 months with continuous use, and the High Air Flow filter annually or when visibly clogged. Both swap in without tools.
Is it safe to run while I'm in the room?
Yes. The UV-C lamp is fully enclosed inside the unit and never reaches occupants — it's designed to run continuously in occupied rooms.
